Xanatseni  Private Camp draws its name from the dominant trees in the area. The Mopane Trees around the lodge form tall stands of Mopane woodlands, sought after by buffalo and elephants. The leaves of the Mopane tree have a distinctive shape that resembles a butterfly. The shape of the leaf has become synonymous with wild, wooded bushveld areas. Within a large grove of Mopane Trees, Xanatseni Private Camp is a calm green lawned and secure camp in the East of the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve, making up part of the Greater Kruger Park entity. 

Xanatseni is a personalised and convivial private safari camp with just five luxury bedroom suites around a central hospitality area under traditional thatched roofing. There is also the Tseni Suite. This is a two-room family villa offering a private space for family time in the bush, as well as,  a private guide and vehicle assigned to the group. 

Xanatseni has fenced grounds, making the camp safe for children. There is a  welcoming and well-maintained garden and a sparkling swimming pool. There is a central lounge and a separate bar area. Meals are in the breakfast bar, or dining room as well as at the fire in the boma in the evenings.
